Online tutoring allows students and parents to easily fit tutoring into their busy work, sports, home, and travel schedules without adding the extra time restraints and costs of traveling to tutors, or tutoring centers.

All that students will need to be tutored anywhere is a pc with windows and an internet connection. Using online technology is simple and natural for today's computer savvy students.

Let me tell you why I have chosen to add online tutoring to my face-to-face tutoring practice here in rural Vermont. I wanted to be able to reach more students that need the type of individualized tutoring that I can provide. As a Burlington tutor, I want to help students that have learning disabilities, are falling behind, do not qualify for extra help in public schools, are homeschooling, or just want to gain confidence and new skills.

Now I'd like to tell you a little bit more about myself. I am a certified Orton-Gillingham Tutor for language-based disabilities such as Dyslexia. My two year training and supervised practicum and certification are accredited by the International Multi-Sensory Structured Language Education Council.

I have enjoyed tutoring locally for the past ten years. I have worked with many individual students of all ages to adult learners in private schools, public schools, and also homeschoolers. I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Studio Art and Education. I am an artist that paints Vermont landscapes in my free time.

I am excited to offer you this extra service of online tutoring.
