Advice for Parents with New Teen Drivers
By Meaghan Montrose
Realizing that your child is quickly growing up is one thing, but imagining them behind the wheel of a vehicle is something else! If you are nervous and concerned about having your teen start driving you are not alone. Fortunately, many parents have gone through this experience already and there are plenty of tips, stories, and pieces of advice to make the process a little bit easier. I recently found two blog posts related to the topic of new teen drivers that can help you ease your fears and make informed decisions.
First, the Pajama Mommy Community presents a post,Think Before You Drive: New Website for Parents of Teen Drivers, that includes some ideas to prepare young drivers and help prevent accidents.
The second post is from the Parents Blog on Families.com. In Teaching Your Teen to Drive, the author, Andrea Hermitt, shares her worries and concerns about having her son start to drive. She also shares many interesting and educational articles that she found on the topic of teen driving. This is definitely a good post to check out to prepare for your up and coming drivers.
