Setting Up Bedtime Contracts for Young Students

Adults are mature enough to realize that they don’t function optimally when they don’t get enough sleep. The same holds true for children, except they are usually not willing to adjust their own sleep schedule themselves. It is up to parents to decide how many hours of sleep is appropriate for their child and to make sure that they establish rules to ensure that their child gets the rest that they need.
