Free SAT Preparation- I Need a Pencil.com
By Meaghan Montrose
Although many schools are still on vacation for the summer, it is not to early to start preparing for the SATs. The SATs are an important factor in determining if you will be accepted by a particular college. Many colleges rely on your scores as a key component of the admissions process. These high stakes make it very important that you are prepared as possible before you take the exam.
INeedaPencil.com is a FREE site that can help you prepare for the SATs. It offers practice SAT questions, lessons, and other student tools. The website includes a section entitled “Go to College” that provides links to college blogs and informational websites for preparing for college.
After setting up an account and going through the preparation program you will be given a projected score of your performance on the SAT. The site even allows you to customize your sessions. If you only have about 15 minutes you can take a shorter 15 minute test.
I would absolutely recommend using this site as you prepare for the SATs. And best of all, it’s free!
