As summer approaches, many school systems are closing for a couple of months. This leaves your kids with a lot of free time. I found a couple of helpful posts that offer suggestions for family activities. These are sure to keep your kids occupied and entertained without breaking the bank.
The first post, Frugal Summer Activities for Kids, is posted at FrugalDad.com. The post provides some nice and creative suggestions to spend a summer day such as setting up a lemonade stand or building a fort.
Another useful post is Summer is Coming: No and Low Cost Entertainment for Kids posted at SavingAdvice.com. It includes some more ideas for enjoying time with the family without spending too much. One suggestion is to go to a minor league baseball game. This provides all of the fun of baseball at a fraction of the cost.
