As summer comes to a close, the weather is beginning to get cooler and the sun is setting earlier and earlier. That means your children are going to be spending less time outside playing and more time in the house. However, that doesn’t mean that the kids should be spending their free time becoming couch potatoes sitting in front of the T.V. There are plenty of ways to keep your children entertained while indoors.
The Simple Mom has put together a list of 20 Indoor Activities for Kids…and none of them involve watching the television! Some of the suggestions on the list are to listen to a book (there are many that you can download to an MP3 player), make an indoor clubhouse (forts are fun for children of all ages!), or help with cooking. Check out the post for more great ideas to beat the end of summer blues and enjoy indoor fun!
